The final destination was a recreation of the End of Line Club, the system-based nightclub owned in the film by Michael Sheen's character Kaster. And after passing through another corridor lit with flashing blue lights in interesting patterns, that's exactly where we found ourselves, in a manner of speaking. The back wall with the Tron machine then opened up again to reveal a dark hallway as the music transitioned to the new Daft Punk score. After everyone had gathered inside, the Journey song "Separate Ways" played, just as it did last year, followed by the voice of Bruce Boxleitner as Alan, telling Kevin Flynn's son Sam (played in the film by Garrett Hedlund) that he got a mysterious call from inside the arcade (if you've seen the trailer, you're already familiar with this scene). But that's not where the real show is anyway. The front of the arcade isn't much different from last year, except that the videogames are now all covered in plastic, so you can't play them.
